After a crazy week of festivities and a weekend trip to Umbria, it's good to be back on a normal schedule with less insane eating habits (I pretty much ate my weight in cheese and dessert this past week). We took a weekend trip to Umbria and it was absolutely beautiful and such an underrated alternative to Tuscany. While nothing can beat the scenery and vineyards that make the Tuscan countryside so incredible, Umbria is just as stunning and is entirely genuine. Last weekend we had the chance to go to Orvieto, Assisi, and Castiglione del Lago, and I've previously been to the European Chocolate Festival in the capital of Perugia. I'll be posting more about our trip soon with some pictures and recommendations for food (obviously). Have a great week and if you're in Rome, enjoy the hot minute of sunshine we've got going on.
